For the last 20 years I have been helping brands connect with their audience through the medium of digital. It started primarily in the 90s designing and building websites for early internet adopters. After moving to San Francisco, I focused on development and database architecture before switching my focus to User Experience in 1999. I started with learning basic Information Architecture principles which eventually evolved into a more holistic approach including research and testing. The last 15 years has been a combination of marketing and product design for everything from big corporate marketing websites to designing a specific type of mobile phone for the European market. In that time I have developed several methods and techniques to help organizations rapidly prioritize requirements, understand customers, leverage competitive intelligence, understand the opportunities and constraints of the organization’s operational and technical capabilities, and design highly effective solutions in record time. Strategies include Websites, Apps, Content and Media, as well as all forms of digital marketing.
I do believe that a customer experience needs to be integrated across all channels including digital and have participated on many projects like that, my primary focus is how to best leverage the digital opportunities. The majority of my clients are Fortune 500, but I can scale from small business startups to some of the largest and most complex companies in the world.
